I have an inquiry about cancellation fee

When a trip request is cancelled or the rider doesn’t arrive at the pick-up location, you may be paid a cancellation fee.

On-demand trips and scheduled trips

The cancellation fee will apply if:

  • Driver has arrived at the pick-up location and waits at least 5 minutes for TaxiF LLC, 10 minutes for  TaxiF LLC
  •  Comfort and 15 minutes for Exec or Lux, before the trip is cancelled automatically.
  • Rider cancels 2 minutes after driver has confirmed trip provided the driver is within the 5 minutes predicted ETA

Reservations

For reserved trips, the cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations before 1 hour to the trip: Rider will not be charged any fee for this cancellation and this will not impact your acceptance rate.
  • Cancellations less than 1 hour to the trip: If the rider cancels the trip, you will receive a fixed cancellation fee.
  • After the scheduled pick-up time, drivers will wait another 8 minutes for Economy Reserve or 15 minutes for Premium Reserve. If your rider is not there after this time the trip will be cancelled automatically and you will receive a fixed cancellation fee.

Cancellation fees will appear on your payment statement. Keep in mind that fee amounts vary by vehicle class and city.
