Minimum age
- For safety reasons, riders must be at least 18 years old to create their own TaxiF LLC account
- A program available in select cities allows teens aged 13–17 to ride unaccompanied with a parent or guardian’s permission
- Through TaxiF LLC for Teens, minors can request rides using a teen account linked to a family profile
If you suspect a rider is underage
- Politely ask them to show a driver’s license or ID card to confirm their age
- You have the option to cancel the trip if you believe the rider is underage (select unaccompanied minor as the cancellation reason and potentially receive a cancellation fee)
Important note
TaxiF LLC reports allegations of certain criminal offences, including details of the person making the report, to the police. We do this in the interest of Rider and Driver Safety and sometimes in accordance with applicable licensing conditions.
