Issues with Notifications

If you encounter trouble receiving app notifications, please try these quick fixes:

  • Make sure to use the latest version of the app

  • Check the settings Do Not Disturb: Sometimes it is set up so that notifications are shown but the sound is off

  • Make sure the sound is not muted

  • If the device is connected to car audio either via cable or Bluetooth, be sure to turn up the car volume.

Make sure notifications are enabled from TaxiF and allow sound alerts:

  • For iOS: Allow persistent banners to avoid missing a notification when the app is in the background

  • For Android: Each app has separate notification settings, so be sure to allow. Please also review the battery settings and allow the TaxiF app to  always run  in the background. Please review the device's instructions on how to do this.

Other tips to follow:

  • Ensure that the network and GPS connection are enabled

  • Do not use battery and data saver modes, as they do not allow apps to run actively in the background

  • We recommend that you do not turn on Bluetooth while using the TaxiF app 

  • Do not open more than one application at a time, as this may affect memory consumption.
