How is the taxi fare calculated?

The fare is calculated according to the city in which you use the taxi, and the cost of the trip may be calculated before starting the trip or upon completion of the trip.

The initial fare

What is meant by the initial fare is to make an estimation of the cost of your trip, as the fare you see before booking your trip is based on an estimate of the trip time, the distance from the place of departure to the place of arrival, the amount of turnout in the area, in addition to any taxes or additional charges and service fees. The reason for this is that we are keen to be aware of the cost before starting your trip, but the cost may change if you add stops or update the place of arrival, or if the route changes dramatically in the event of traffic congestion or the closure of some roads. In the event that this occurs, the fare is calculated according to the actual time and distance traveled for the trip. We are always keen to work to improve the process of calculating the cost of a trip, and some factors may sometimes affect the accuracy of the cost estimate of the trip due to limitations in data or technologies such as accuracy of maps, internet connection, traffic and the quality of positioning techniques.

End of trip fares

There are some cities that do not support the initial fare feature, so the value of the trip will be calculated based on the time and distance that the trip took, and it includes the initial fee, reservation fee and additional expenses for the trip, in addition to traffic toll gates and any other factors that may affect the course of the trip, such as peak times. Prices may vary depending on the location and the vehicle category you have booked. If you did not specify the place of arrival when booking your ride, the final cost will be calculated upon completion of your trip.
